The client does not live locally and has entrusted R. P. Valois with the project from initial design to finished product. The original deck style home is fully renovated with new insulated windows, bleached cedar siding, lifetime roofing, all new utilities, a wraparound composite deck, new custom Mahogany entry door and a complete interior makeover. The interior was taken down to stud and rebuilt. Several interior walls were removed to open up the floorplan and introduce as much natural light and water views as possible. The original galley style kitchen was redesigned, expanded to incorporate an island and built with all new custom cabinets, stone countertops and appliances. The dated brick chimney was clad in stone, the hearths rebuilt and all of the hardwood floors refinished. This house now boasts state of the art heating and cooling systems, spray foam insulation and led lighting throughout.
The following is a “dollhouse” photographic journey of the completed project. You navigate it very much like Google Maps.
